Grab a roll of parchment paper and a basket, serving tray or baking sheet on your way to the pool and you’ll be all set to enjoy a barefoot feast centred around various dips. Have fun picking an array of homemade or store-bought sauces (see our recipes in Notebook No. 02). Then, embody the spirit of Pollock and add your favourite nuts, grains and beans. Alternate with handfuls of vegetables and with lentil patties (see recipe, page 58), as the whim strikes you.
