vanilla orange granola

I’m crazy about granola! I’ve been making different kinds for years. It’s so easy and usually so much better for you since homemade granola has less sugar than store mixes. My latest creation has a touch of orange, which makes all the difference.

Preparation : 15 minutes

Baking : 1 hour

Efficiency : 3 cups (750 ml)

Ingredients

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a measuring cup, mix the maple syrup and vanilla. Set aside.

3. In a bowl, mix together the rest of the ingredients and add the maple syrup and vanilla. Spread the mixture evenly on the baking sheet. Bake on the middle oven rack for 1 hour, stirring midway.

4. Let cool on the baking sheet. Store in an airtight container for a few weeks.
